Being a son of a fisherman
- means many things, for example to naturally dedicate an entire page for the fishing topic. In August 2014 we were out fishing in one of the small mountain lakes. Some 37 small trouts were caught (with fishing rod) in just about 2 hours. Late that evening sitting around the camp fire Fred discovered why his backpack had felt so heavy during the ascent. Helén had unnoticed managed to sneak in a bottle of Champagne in his outside pocket.
Man, did that butter fried trout taste good together with some vintage bubbles!
Explore the Big Blue on your own or together with us
- Eventhough you easily can catch mackerel and sometimes cod just by standing lazily with yor fishing rod on the pier, you can go for bigger catch if you decide to enter the ocean and rent our boat. You can rent for a day or more, it´s up to you.
- Or if you are a landlubber or like the idea of spending a few hours together with the above mentioned Fisherman´s son to boost your fishing luck you can "rent" Fred (or someone similar if he by any chance has gone fishing on his own).
Note that you have to wear lifejacket and put up with a couple or more funny stories from the northern part of Norway (Parental Advisory due to light explicit content) during the trip
